Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for a Dev Ops Engineer to join our dynamic Technology Digital team. The team uses a wide range of technologies to design, architect, develop, and support solutions for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, developing containerisation solutions, and supporting cloud migration projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Develop and maintain containerisation solutions for .NET applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support and manage on‐premises to cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
- Automate configuration management, deployment, and orchestration tasks.
- Monitor and optimise system performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery.
- Migrate CHEF, Bamboo and Jenkins projects over to Git Lab.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using CHEF.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and on‐premises to cloud migration.
- Proficiency in containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with .NET application development and deployment.
- Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail.
- CHEF experience is essential for this role.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using CHEF.
