We are currently seeking an experienced Mine Controller to join an industry-leading gold producer on a 7:7 roster (days and nights). This is a DIDO opportunity from Perth or surrounding areas only.
About the Role
Reporting to the Supervisor - Mine Control, you will be responsible for central communications and data management for the open-pit mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and evaluate system data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
* Support the open-pit mine planning process by ensuring mine haulage is dispatched correctly and efficiently.
* Uphold and comply with safety standards, regulations, and best practice mining procedures.
* Maintain a strong safety focus and perform duties in a timely, safe, and efficient manner.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience with surface mining operations using MineStar Command or MineStar Fleet (required).
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience in a mine control room environment.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* A current WA C-Class
* Full Australian working rights.
* A proven commitment to safety.
