Senior Business Development & Tender Role

LS Precast & LS Quarry – LS Group Role

LS Precast and LS Quarry & Concrete are leading suppliers to the construction and infrastructure sector, delivering high-quality precast concrete products and quarry materials to major civil, infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects across Australia. With integrated manufacturing and materials supply capability, the LS Group supports complex projects from early engagement through to delivery.

We are seeking a Senior Business Partner to lead Business Development by taking ownership of front-end project engagement and lead the tendering function across both LS Precast and LS Quarry.

The Role

Reporting to senior management, this role is responsible for identifying upcoming opportunities, leading tender submission & follow up, and converting prospects into awarded projects.

You will coordinate internal teams to ensure competitive, well-structured and commercially sound tenders aligned with LS Group capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and managing the end-to-end tendering process for precast and quarry supply projects
* Identifying upcoming tenders through market intelligence, client engagement and pipeline tracking
* Coordinating inputs from estimating, engineering, production, quarry and logistics teams
* Developing tender strategies, pricing approaches and submission programs
* Managing early contractor engagement (ECI) and pre-tender involvement
* Reviewing tender documentation, scope, risk and commercial terms
* Leading client presentations, clarifications and post-tender negotiations
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors, developers, engineers and consultants
* Maintaining an accurate tender pipeline and reporting outcomes to senior management

About You

You are a commercially astute professional with hands-on experience leading bids / tenders. To be successful in the role the candidate will be able to demonstrate success working on Major Projects supporting infrastructure, precast or materials supply environments.

You will ideally have:

* Proven experience leading tender submissions in precast concrete, quarrying, civil or construction sectors
* Strong understanding of tender documentation, pricing structures and contractual risk
* Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to meet tight deadlines
* Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
* Established relationships within the construction and infrastructure market
* A proactive, organised and results-driven approach

Location

The LS Group are based in regional Victoria & this role is flexible in terms of office base. As a hybrid role it will require regular travel across Victoria and may include occasional interstate travel.
