Duties & Responsibilities
1. Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift.
2. Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner.
3. Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas, following established protocols.
4. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
5. Report maintenance issues or concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
6. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize infection transmission.
7. Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

About You
As a collaborative team member, you will possess:
1. Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare or aged care environment, or motivation to learn.
2. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
3. Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and schedules.
4. Strong communication skills and effective teamwork.
5. A positive attitude and compassionate approach to elderly residents.
6. Understanding of infection control practices.
7. Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
8. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if needed.
