Co-ordinator for lifestyle enrichment

We are recruiting for a role that will enable and support our residents to continue taking part in the activities and lifestyle choices they have always enjoyed.

This will involve getting to know our residents as individuals, finding out how they have lived their life, and what they enjoy doing. This will mean taking an interest and talking with our residents and their family and friends, plotting a life history book with them, and sharing their memories.

The successful candidate will engage with the local community and its resources, be creative, innovative, and enthusiastic. They will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Experience of working with vulnerable adults is essential.

* IT literacy is a must.
* The ability to compile social care plans for residents is also required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
* Good interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
* Able to maintain confidentiality and work with residents to ensure they have fulfilling lives.
* Able to prioritise workload and use own initiative.
