About the role Due to internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced accessory fitter to join a well established Pre Delivery team. Covering a broad range of accessory installs across light vehicle and utes, from bullbars to towbars and everything in between. Duties Fit and install a wide range of vehicle accessories including canopies, bull bars, tow bars, roof racks, side steps, driving lights, and electric tonneau covers. Carry out electrical wiring and connections for powered accessories (e.g. lights, tonneaus, sensors). Perform precise measurements, drilling, and cutting to ensure correct and secure installation. Check compatibility of parts and confirm correct fitment with manufacturer specifications. Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, using proper tools and safety practices. Provide basic fault finding and troubleshooting on installed accessories. Liaise with service advisors or supervisors regarding job requirements, progress, and any issues. Deliver work within timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct post-installation inspections to ensure functionality and presentation meet dealership or customer expectations. Skills and experience Previous experience in accessory fitting, automotive trimming, panel work, or light mechanical/electrical work. Strong hands-on skills with power tools and workshop equipment. Ability to read and follow fitting instructions, diagrams, and wiring schematics. Understanding of automotive electrical systems (12V wiring, relays, switches). Attention to detail and ability to produce neat, professional installations. Physical capability to handle lifting, carrying, and manual tasks. Current driver’s license (mandatory). Trade qualification in Automotive (Light Vehicle, Auto Electrical, or similar) desirable but not always essential.
