The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking applications for an EL2 Director Information Management to join the Corporate Services branch.
This exciting, ongoing role is a new position for the Tribunal and a real opportunity to make the role your own. It is a fantastic opportunity to manage a team of information management professionals to develop and implement an information management framework and drive the information management agenda of the Tribunal.
The role can be located in either Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney and is able to be offered with hybrid working arrangements.
Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is EL2 - $140,890 - $160,176 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Chief Corporate Officer located in Melbourne, the Director Information Management will work with stakeholders to ensure compliant, consistent and efficient practices. You will provide expert advice to Tribunal leadership and drive strategies to cultivate public trust in the information managed by the Tribunal.
The role has three direct reports who manage Library Services, Decisions and Publications and Records Management functions and the team are geographically located across the footprint of the Tribunal.
About you:
To be successful you will have:
* Extensive and detailed knowledge of whole-of-Australian Government information and records management legislation, policies, and standards.
* Demonstrated experience of information management systems, such as SharePoint or electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS), including governance and strategic utilisation.
* Demonstrated research and analytical skills, and an ability to find innovative and practical solutions that support organisational goals.
* Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including an ability to adapt own approach to the audience and explain technical and complex information related to area of expertise.
* Extensive experience and proven ability to lead a team, manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders and deliver a high level of customer service.
* Experience working effectively across an organisation with autonomy to influence change, manage projects and meet specified timelines, to improve the quality and efficiency of services.
Essential:
* Security Clearance – Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain post-commencement.
Desirable:
* Relevant qualifications from an accredited tertiary institution.
* Vocational certification in modern information management, governance, records and data approaches.
