About the role
Midnight Joinery are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in Fawkner, Victoria on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinetry and joinery for our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in cabinet making and a strong background in high end cabinetmaking and joinery with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
What you'll be doing
- Interpret technical drawings to create innovative cabinet and joinery solutions.
- Ensure that all joinery has been manufactured to a high standard and that client specifications are met.
- Collaborating with the design team to refine and improve product designs.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
- Working with a small team of like-minded colleagues, with a passion for delivering quality items.
What we\'re looking for
- Formal qualifications in Cabinet Making with a Minimum 5 years\' experience as a qualified Cabinet Maker, ideally in a custom or high-end joinery workplace.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
- Has worked with curves and shaped joinery previously.
- Skilled in the use of a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
- Experience in machining & manufacturing solid timber.
