About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact and difference in the lives of others. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in serving the needs of our Volunteer Service within our NODA Program (No One Dies Alone).
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Volunteer Service and NODA program, working closely with the Manager and other team members to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities
* Familiarize yourself with the policies, procedures, and documents of the Volunteer Service and the NODA program.
* Collaborate with the Head of Pastoral Care & Volunteer Services to meet reporting deadlines.
* Utilize relevant technology to manage the volunteer service and NODA program.
* C coordinate with staff at residential sites to monitor requests for NODA volunteers for end-stage palliative residents.
* Assist with NODA mobilization during times of multiple or complex call-outs.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Knowledge of Volunteer Service policies and procedures.
* Ability to work harmoniously with diverse social, economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
* Strong grammar and editing skills.
* Well-developed telephone communication skills.
