The Opportunity
Are you an experienced Business Development professional excited to work with an innovative business and contribute to the development of market‐leading solutions? We are looking for a Senior Executive Business Development to work with our teams in APAC, supporting the Senior Business Development Manager in driving growth and enhancing the market profile of our Ashurst Advance and Risk Advisory practices.
This high‐impact role will provide scope to shape outcomes and take ownership of certain initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Build and develop relationships with the Australian Ashurst Advance and Risk Advisory Partners to raise the profile of BD and become a trusted pair of hands and their go‐to for operational BD activities.
* Work closely with the Senior BD Manager relevant division Partners and Directors to enable the implementation of go to market initiatives and track activities and ROI.
* Refine and / or prepare tailored client‐focused sales collateral, including pitch presentations and capability statements.
* Uplift and maintain the division's BD reports and content library including case studies, client testimonials and pipeline management.
* Assist with client listening reporting and tracking to ensure regular feedback is captured and acted on in a timely manner.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
* 3-5 years of experience in business development in a professional services environment or matrix organisation. NewLaw or Consulting experience will be highly regarded.
* Excellent communication skills (written and non‐written), able to adapt to different audiences.
* Strong commercial acumen, with a developing understanding of business development economics, sales cycles and methodologies.
* A proactive self‐starter who takes initiative with a can‐do mindset.
