About Our School
Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Matraville is a vibrant, state-of-the-art, two-stream Catholic school. Its name honours the founding religious order, the Sisters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. The school serves families from the parishes of Our Lady of the Annunciation Pagewood and St Agnes' Matraville, and was established through the amalgamation of the two former parish primary schools.
At Sacred Heart, we are dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning, supported by strong academic results and a team of experienced, professional staff. Students benefit from specialist teachers in art, sport, music, dance, and the Amadeus Music Education program.
Our school grounds feature beautiful outdoor spaces and an Early Learning Centre, creating an inspiring environment for growth and discovery. We are a welcoming faith and learning community that values each child's individuality and encourages them to reach their full potential.
