Maintenance Supervisor Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of maintenance professionals to ensure the effective operation of various assets and sites across the Shoalhaven area.
The role will be based at HMAS Albatross in Nowra, with regular travel to other sites across the region. You will work closely with our Superintendent to ensure timely and effective delivery of maintenance services, in line with maintenance and asset management plans.
* Lead and motivate a team of maintenance trades and subcontractors to achieve operational excellence.
* Work collaboratively with the Superintendent to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and plans.
* Monitor site-level compliance reviews to ensure all operational and delivery platform maintenance meets relevant standards.
* Contribute to the management of maintenance budget performance and optimize resource allocation.
* Educate and promote UGL and Defence HSE expectations and obligations across all sites.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Extensive experience working in petrochemical, oil & gas or similar industries.
* Proven experience in maintenance management, with trade or tertiary qualifications in relevant fields. Prior experience in Defence Fuels will be highly regarded.
* Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* A strong focus on safety, with a commitment to upholding industry best practices.
* A current holder of NV-1 security clearance or ability to obtain it.
* Ability and willingness to travel regularly within Southeast Queensland.
