Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership journey within the Division of Finance We are offering a secondment (or fixed-term opportunity) for current staff within the Division to lead the Universitys Corporate Services functions.
This University-wide role is responsible for the strategic oversight and development of key financial functions including statutory reporting taxation investments financial governance across the University and its controlled entities.
As a member of the Divisions leadership team youll work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to shape financial strategy and ensure excellence in financial operations.
About you
You will hold a postgraduate qualification in accounting finance or closely related field and are a member of either CPA or CA.
You bring extensive experience in statutory accounting for large complex organisations with international transactions and have a strong grasp of Accounting Standards and financial compliance frameworks.
Your leadership style will need to build high-performing teams and contribute to strategic goals.
Youre confident engaging stakeholders writing clear reports and applying your expertise in accounting systems and emerging technologies.
Ideally youll also understand Treasury Regulations the Public Finance and Audit Act and Auditing Standards adding further depth to your financial governance capability.
