Responsibilities
* Provide strong educational leadership to a diverse team, ensuring a high‐expectations culture, modelling explicit teaching and driving student engagement across all Science disciplines, including emerging curriculum.
* Effectively lead and manage a HPGE focus across a wide spectrum of science programs, ensuring inclusive, high‐quality provision for students with diverse interests and cultural backgrounds.
* Contribute actively as a dynamic member of the executive leadership team and lead initiatives that advance whole‐school strategic goals utilizing school resources, facilities and community partnerships.
Qualifications & Experience
* Successful teaching experience with the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare, with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
* Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance of individuals and teams.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
* Unconditional full approval to teach in the NSW Department of Education.
