About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Qualified Welder to join our growing team. You will be involved in structural steel fabrication, stainless steel work, and custom aluminium projects in our Queanbeyan workshop, with occasional on-site welding.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and weld procedures
* Fabricate and assemble metal structures to AS/NZS 1554 and other relevant standards
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Carry out basic fitting and grinding tasks
* Work both independently and as part of a team
About You
* Trade-qualified Welder (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)
* Strong skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
* Ability to weld to Australian standards (AS/NZS 1554)
* Current White Card (Construction Induction)
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and quality-focused
* Forklift licence and Working at Heights ticket highly regarded
* Own transport
