Working for a Federal Government Agency that has a positive impact on the lives of so many, this role will see you support the development of change strategies while engaging with all levels of stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption of change across the organisation. This is a 12 month contract with the option for another 12 month extension and can be performed in any Australian Capital City The role will see you: Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation as well as external players. Deliver change management outcomes on schedule, within budget & that are aligned to the department’s goals. Effectively engage with stakeholders to conduct and deliver detailed and accurate change impact assessments Identify and mitigate resistance to change using proactive strategies and interventions Support business areas for effective communication with participants, staff and partners by ensuring leaders have the information they need to perform their role as change champions. You will bring to the role: Australian Citizenship and ability to gain NV1 Security Clearance Previous experience in managing change within software development or IT projects, including planning, executing, and evaluating change management activities. Familiarity with established change management methodologies such as ADKAR or Prosci. Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills to effectively manage tasks, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, project teams, and end-users. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess the impact of changes and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
