Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform various technical duties.
Your New Role:
* Conduct efficient and effective product diagnostics, including RF, digital, and analogue circuits.
* Test and remediate products at localised levels.
* Coordinate and collect material from customer locations.
* Monitor, track, and control assets between customers and the warehouse.
* Manage local delivery, storage, and material distribution.
* Ensure effective communication of material status, repairs, and warranties.
* Conduct Preventative Maintenance Inspections of supplied radios.
* Troubleshoot/fault-find returned material to determine next remediation steps.
* Liaise on product improvements/issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate strong consulting, employee relations, conflict management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
* Work independently with minimal supervision.
* Use strong computer skills in MS Office suite.
* Act as a mentor to lower-level peers and provide guidance on tasks.
Requirements for Success:
* Prior experience in an Engineering Technician role within a Defence environment.
* Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience or High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
* RF and/or P25 experience in Public Safety or Defence Force is highly advantageous.
* Understanding of Supply Chain/Logistics and Repair/maintenance management.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Baseline Security Clearance.
