The Manager Corporate Operations – Facilities Lead role offers a senior leadership opportunity within Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network’s (BHFLHN) Corporate Services directorate, with full accountability for facilities services across BHFLHN (Ventia, contracts, maintenance, breakdowns, procurements, projects, systems, processes, compliance etc), and operational responsibilities for catering, cleaning, laundry, facilities and administration for the Mt Barker District Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Mount Pleasant District Hospital, Gumeracha District Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and the Strathalbyn and District Health Service. An experienced facilities operations leader with a track record in delivering high level, strategic leadership and managing complex, multi‑site services in a health or similarly complex environment. A person with strong strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to drive change, lead reform, and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Someone with extensive experience in human, financial and material resource management, policy and program development, quality management, and a sound understanding of relevant legislation, standards and accreditation requirements If you have answered yes to any of these questions - then read on HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? Lead and coordinate facilities services across BHFLHN (Ventia, contracts, maintenance, breakdowns, minor works, procurements, capital projects, systems, processes, compliance etc), and site operational responsibilities for catering, cleaning, laundry, facilities and administration for the Mt Barker District Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Mount Pleasant District Hospital, Gumeracha District Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and the Strathalbyn and District Health Service ensuring safe, efficient, consumer‑focused operations across all allocated BHFLHN sites. Develop and implement business plans, policies, procedures and management systems that support financial sustainability, risk management, performance improvement and compliance with SA Health and BHFLHN requirements. The role works In close collaboration with the Manager Corporate Operations – Catering and Cleaning Lead, the Manager Corporate Operations – Administration Lead, and the Director Corporate Services.
