Overview

We are a high-volume, Texan-themed food and beverage restaurant looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our team full time. This role offers room for growth within our national franchise.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and plate meals consistently to franchise standards (recipes cannot be altered).
* Support and guide kitchen staff, leading by example.
* Maintain prep levels, stock rotation, and hygiene standards.
* Assist with ordering, stock control, and minimising food waste.
* Ensure food safety compliance and handle customer complaints courteously.
* Train and mentor staff on food and safety procedures.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years).
* Solid communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* A team player with a passion for food and service.
* Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Char grill experience is highly regarded.
* Work authorisation to work in Australia.
