MJD Recruitment is working with a highly regarded boutique law firm seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to support a longstanding General Practitioner Partner with a strong commercial practice. This 1:1 role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trusted working relationships, takes pride in producing accurate, polished work, and thrives in a structured environment. The Partner values clarity, consistency and loyalty, and is looking for someone who does too. You’ll be based in the office at least four days per week, working closely alongside the Partner to provide hands-on, in-person support across a range of matters. What the role involves: Providing high-level administrative support including email drafting, dictation, paper-based document management, and file organisation Assisting with billings, invoicing, and new client/matter setup Managing priorities in a calm, methodical manner—accuracy is more important than speed Liaising with long-standing clients in a warm, professional and proactive way What we’re looking for: Experience with PEXA is essential Familiarity with legal case management systems (LEAP highly regarded) A strong background supporting lawyers or legal professionals, preferably in boutique or general practice environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and written communication skills A composed, client-focused approach Curious?
