The role is part of either AMA Group Solutions or Capital S.M.A.R.T Repairs team, where you will work on ensuring vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition through quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check received parts for accuracy and defects
- Disassemble vehicles according to Job Sheets
- Label and store parts, notating broken items and extra repairs for the Estimator
- Inspect new parts for damage and communicate defects to Parts Manager/Production Manager
- Colour match vehicles, build and maintain a colour library, and prep, prime, and paint vehicles according to Job Sheet requirements and paint supplier processes
- Buff and denib vehicles, repairing them according to the Repair Method, OEM standards, and Job Sheets
- Reassemble vehicles, handling all with care and attention, and coach apprentices when required
- Maintain company tools and equipment, adhering to OH&S policies including PPE
About You:
- Trade qualified Panel Beater with previous experience in a similar role
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, excellent communication skills, and high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the team, meeting strict deadlines, and being reliable, punctual, and hardworking
