About the Role

We are seeking a technically skilled professional to support the design, layout, calculation, and documentation of fixed-line fall protection systems—including horizontal lifelines, vertical lifelines, and other engineered height‑safety solutions. This role does not require a formal engineering degree, but it does require hands‑on experience with project take‑offs, system design, and engineering calculations. Additionally, the role includes developing a network of approved installers, delivering technical training, and providing installer certification to ensure compliant installation of KStrong systems. You will work closely with sales, installation partners, project management, and the broader KStrong global technical team.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Work

* Develop system designs for horizontal and vertical fixed‑line systems and various engineered fall‑protection solutions.
* Perform engineering calculations (load ratings, deflection, anchor spacing, dynamic performance, etc.).
* Produce layout drawings, technical documentation, and installation plans using AutoCAD or similar tools.
* Ensure designs comply with relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS ****, AS/NZS ****, AS ****) and manufacturer requirements.
* Partner with the National Sales Manager (NSM) and Regional Sales Managers (RSM) to identify, assess, and engage suitable installation partners across Australia.
* Build and maintain a network of trained and certified installers for KStrong's fixed‑line systems, utilizing the RSM's networks.
* Conduct capability assessments to ensure installers meet KStrong's technical and safety standards.
Training & Certification
* Develop and deliver technical training to installers, contractors, and partners on the correct installation and maintenance of KStrong systems.
* Certify installers upon successful completion of training and assessment.
* Maintain training records, certification registers, and ongoing competency assessments.

Project Support
* Assist internal teams with tenders, quotes, and technical clarifications.
* Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and system documentation.
* Support installers during project delivery, including on‑site technical assistance when required.
* Review installation queries and ensure system compliance during and post‑install.
Compliance & Quality
* Ensure all engineered solutions meet statutory, regulatory, and industry requirements.
* Maintain accurate design notes, documentation, and technical records.
* Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
* Liaise with architects, builders, engineers, installers, and clients.
* Support the sales team by interpreting technical requirements and recommending engineered solutions.
