Mental Health Nursing Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our mental health care team in Lake Macquarie. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and person-centred care to individuals living in the community.
Job Description:
* Provide recovery-oriented care to consumers, promoting better health and well-being outcomes.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and peer workers.
* Conduct mental health assessments and support recovery planning.
* Engage therapeutically with consumers, their families, and support networks.
* Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* A strong interest or experience in mental health nursing.
* Compassionate, open-minded, and adaptable.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Committed to continuous learning and improvement.
