Reporting directly to the partner's & senior management team in your new role, you will draw from previous experience and be responsible for tasks such as:
Work across a broad range of clients as a finance manager
Weekly management of Xero files.
Attendance to transactional tasks including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury functions
Weekly & Monthly journal preparation including payroll, revenue, prepayments, depreciation, accruals etc
Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
Assisting with preparation, analysis and distribution of monthly management reports
Assisting with Budget and Forecast preparation
Ensuring accurate workpapers support Management Financials
Preparation of BAS, IAS and other statutory/ taxation obligations to be sent to external accountant
Maintain the fixed asset register
Ensure transaction workpapers and EOM deadlines are met to the highest standard
Liaising with internal and external teams in relation to financial queries
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant tertiary qualifications with strong technical accounting knowledge
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Financial or Management Accountant
Technically minded and the ability to problem solve
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, as well as positively contribute to a team
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Accountability and the capability to work to strict deadlines
Advanced Excel skills and use of ERP systems is highly desirable
Remuneration - TBC dependent on experience
