The Role:
We're looking for an Exploration Geologist who thrives in the field, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for discovering minerals. You'll get to travel to remote locations, conduct mapping, sample collection, and support drilling programs—all while working in a team that values safety, learning, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and logging (RC, diamond, and AC).
* Support exploration drilling programs, including supervision of core handling and QAQC procedures.
* Analyze geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to generate targets.
* Prepare reports, maintain accurate field records, and contribute to project planning.
* Collaborate with field teams, senior geologists, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous field experience as an exploration geologist or similar.
* Strong geological mapping, sampling, and drill logging skills.
* Competent with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) and Microsoft Office.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to work in remote locations for extended periods.
* First Aid and relevant safety certifications preferred.
