Restaurant Manager – The Oxford Hotel, Bathurst Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum (Full-time) The Oxford Hotel, one of Bathurst’s leading hospitality venues, is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic front-of-house team. This role is perfect for a hospitality professional who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment and is ready to take ownership of service operations at a premium venue. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and front-of-house team. Recruit, train, roster, and mentor staff to ensure service excellence. Manage reservations, floor operations, and guest flow to maximise efficiency. Maintain high standards of food, beverage, and service quality. Drive customer engagement and respond effectively to guest feedback. Monitor budgets, wage costs, and inventory to support profitability. Implement and maintain workplace health & safety and compliance procedures. Collaborate with kitchen and bar managers to deliver seamless service. Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a restaurant management role. Proven leadership and staff management skills. Strong understanding of premium dining service standards. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism. Desirable Qualifications: Diploma or Certificate IV in Hospitality Management (or equivalent). Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (essential under NSW law).
