Job Description:
A full-time teaching position commencing soon. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students, fostering their growth in faith and improvement in learning.
The role of the Classroom Teacher is to create a supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L, and to apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
* Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
* Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
* Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in Mathematics.
* Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
Required Qualifications:
Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area(s) are required. Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment is also necessary.
