Training Manager

At Summerstar Tourist Parks, we're a proudly WA-owned family business operating some of the state's best-loved caravan parks and a motel. As we grow, we're investing in our people—and we're looking for someone to lead the charge.
We're on the hunt for a hands-on, people-focused Training Manager to design and deliver impactful training across our network of Parks and Head Office.
You'll take ownership of our Learning Management System (eTrainu, transitioning to Tanda HR), develop SCORM-compliant e-learning, run workshops, and coach our Park Managers, Assistant Managers, Housekeepers, Office Staff, and Head Office leaders. In time, you'll lead a team dedicated to delivering consistent, high-quality in-park training across office operations, grounds, housekeeping, and guest experience.
This is a newly created position that sits on our Leadership Team and reports directly to the Co-CEOs—so you'll have real influence and the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up.
What You'll Be Doing
* Design and deliver practical, job-ready training for Park and Head Office staff
* Develop SCORM e-learning content and manage our LMS
* Create structured onboarding and role-specific learning pathways
* Build and maintain a training matrix across all locations
* Coach Park and Head Office leaders on managing people and projects
* Support the rollout of new systems and business processes
* Lead the development of a small training team over time
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience in training design and delivery
* LMS experience (eTrainu, Moodle, Tanda HR or similar)
* Confident and engaging facilitation and coaching style
* Hospitality, tourism, or service industry experience
* Willingness to travel to regional parks across WA (~30%)
