About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) to join our incredible team. As a BSP, you will assist NDIS participants, their families and/or carers to manage challenging behaviours and develop new skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Complete thorough assessments to understand behaviour triggers, identify risks & consider specific strategies to improve behaviour outcomes.
* Develop Behaviour Support Plans and provide support to families and/or carers for consistent implementation.
* Maintain a caseload with ongoing monitoring, support and make adjustments where required.
* Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require extensive experience working within the NDIS framework, supporting individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours. You must also hold relevant qualifications or have equivalent experience in the disability sector.
