Job Title: Maintenance Watch Specialist
We are seeking a highly experienced and disciplined professional to oversee maintenance requirements, optimise efficiency, and maximise the availability of serviceable aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee maintenance operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
* Monitor and manage supply chain logistics for afterhours Aircraft-On-Ground parts as needed.
* Track operational critical defect requisitions to maintain aircraft availability.
* Provide advisory support to Fleet Services Manager and Aircraft Operations Centre on defect rectification impacting flight schedule estimated return to service.
* Review current deferred defects daily to ensure corrective action is planned and completed.
* Pursue Minimum Equipment List extensions and communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
* Interpret regulations and processes to provide advice on non-standard repairs and modifications.
* Liaise with stakeholders to plan timeframe for work completion taking into account flight schedules.
* AUTHORISE maintenance related ferry flights outside of normal working hours.
* Primary point of contact for aircrew technical support.
* Develop strong relationships with relevant stakeholders.
* Maintain high level of engineering and safety standards according to regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements:
* A minimum of Diploma in Aeroskills or equivalent and two years' experience as a B1 or B2 AME.
* Knowledge of CAMO and AMP expositions and manual suites.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC.
* Valid work visa;
* Current Australian Driver's licence.
