About the Role
Join our large, dynamic team as a casual Paediatric Dietitianat Monash Children's Hospital in Clayton.
In this Grade 2 role, you'll provide nutritional care for infants, children, and adolescents across both acute inpatient and outpatient settings. As a casual Dietitian, you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical areas, providing cover for vacant positions and leave.
You'll be supported by a team of experienced Dietitians who will ensure you receive thorough onboarding, training, and opportunities for ongoing development and upskilling.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role - you'll work alongside multi-disciplinary colleagues to promote clinical excellence and consistency of practice across the service.
About Us
Monash Children's Hospital is one of Australia's leading providers of integrated children's health services, with more than 30 specialist services and programs. We have Victoria's largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and provide leading paediatric services in many areas including Rehabilitation & Oncology. Allied Health at Monash Children's Hospital provides specialised services to paediatric patients across the continuum including inpatients, outpatients and via Hospital in the Home.
About You
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge :
Hold a Dietitians Australia accredited dietetics degree or hold a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand or have passed the Dietitians Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process
Eligible for DA membership and Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status
Experience in paediatric dietetics
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the paediatric setting
