Join our team as a Clinical Facilitator at Community and Oral Health (COH ) and play a pivotal role in supporting pharmacists throughout their career journey. In this dynamic educator position, you'll lead intern training and assessment, guide onboarding and orientation for new pharmacists, and help upskill professionals transitioning into hospital or Queensland Health settings. You'll coordinate department-wide education sessions, assist the leadership team with clinical competency evaluations using evidence-based tools such as clinCAT, miniPAT, and miniCEX, and inspire undergraduate students to understand the critical role of medicines management in transitions of care. You will influence and guide how services and Models of Care are developed for future services. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Provide and coordinate professional clinical supervision to intern pharmacists, and early career clinical pharmacists, including but not limited to monitoring of professional standards, service delivery and outcomes, formal performance appraisal and competency assessment using the national clinical competency standards (ClinCAT, miniPAT and miniCEX). * Provide and be individually accountable for the delivery of high level Clinical Pharmacy services (including but not limited to medication history taking, medication reconciliation, development of Medication Action Plans, Pharmaceutical care Plans, and TDM) and medication intervention to multi-speciality work units and Multidisciplinary teams with minimal direct supervision and in accordance with prescribed professional, legislative and ethical standards to facilitate clinical education, learning and training of staff * Provide clinical advice, education, training and mentorship to intern pharmacists, * Provide and coordinate professional clinical supervision and clinical education to intern pharmacists, including but not limited to monitoring of professional standards, service delivery and outcomes, formal performance appraisal and competency assessment using the national clinical competency standards (ClinCAT) and competency requirements for registration.
