A full list of key duties is outlined in the Position Description, but includes responsibilities in:
* Advise and support team members in case management frameworks, therapeutic models, and advocacy skills.
* Monitor and report service delivery targets, including monthly SAMS data preparation.
* Address Quality of Care concerns and incidents per CIMS, the Reportable Conduct Scheme, and Section 81 requirements.
* Prepare and submit funding applications to support placements and caregiver needs.
* Administer program services in accordance with service plans and funding requirements, providing operational support to staff.
Do your skills include:
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of issues confronting disadvantaged children, young people and their families, particularly clients involved with the Child Protection system and Out of Home Care programs.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the Child Protection system and its role in the service system.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of legislation, standards and guidelines within the health and community services sector.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to facilitate a team approach to achieve service objectives
* Demonstrated understanding of implementing therapeutic care to children, young people and their carers.
Are your credentials:
* A minimum qualification of a sector recognised and accredited Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Welfare Work or equivalent. (Qualifications must be approved by recognised professional bodies: ie. AASW, Community Services Council, APS etc.)
* Current Driver’s Licence
