ABOUT THE ROLE
Based out of our Baranduda VIC 3691 workshop, you'll work within a dynamic team to deliver electrical diagnostics, new installs, programming and repairs on heavy vehicles, cranes and equipment.
KEY DUTIES
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults on heavy vehicles, cranes and equipment
* Wire and install trays, cranes and tailgate loaders; integrate controls and safety devices
* Perform new installation wiring and system programming
* Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
* Liaise with OEM suppliers for parts and technical support
* Mentor and assist other technicians
* Maintain accurate service and repair records
REQUIREMENTS
* Trade-qualified Auto Electrician
* Strong electrical diagnostic aptitude; exposure to CAN bus and hydraulic-electrical interfaces preferred
* Experience on heavy vehicles, cranes or mobile plant
* Proven WHS focus and safe work habits
* Organised, clean work practices and sound documentation skills
* Effective communicator and team player

ESSENTIAL
Sound electrical knowledge OR trade background OR previous experience in a similar role.
