headspace is a leading national youth mental health foundation.
We help thousands of young people, and their families and friends, access vital support through our services in over 145 communities across Australia, as well as online and phone counseling, vocational and school-based programs.
As a dedicated Youth Worker with our Intake & Brief Intervention Team, you'll be the first point of contact for young people accessing our service.
You'll provide early engagement, intake support, brief case coordination, psychoeducation, and practical assistance – all through a recovery-focused, strengths-based approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide initial contact and support to young people accessing our service
* Deliver early engagement, intake support, and brief case coordination
* Offer psychoeducation and practical assistance to promote young people's mental health and wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve optimal outcomes for young people
