Clinical Nurse Specialist Role
Delivering expert nursing care at an advanced practice level requires a deep understanding of the complexities involved in providing specialty nursing services. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, you will be responsible for collaborating with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide person-centered specialist nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership and support for less experienced clinicians, ensuring that they achieve high-quality patient outcomes through people-focused care.
* Utilize best practice evidence to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to each patient's unique needs.
* Exercise extended autonomy in clinical decision-making and take on a leadership role in advancing nursing specialty practice.
* Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless and high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and relevant post-registration qualifications in mental health are mandatory.
* Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the challenges involved in providing specialty nursing care in a multidisciplinary team context are essential.
