Our Client is a leading global luxury brand and we are seeking a Finance & Administration Manager to join their dynamic head office team in Sydney. This role manages a small team and offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage financial operations, supporting the continued growth of the business across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.
* Oversee financial reporting and analysis, providing insights to support business decisions.
* Lead Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance and safety initiatives within the business.
* Lead accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
* Manage relationships with outsourced accounting teams in the APAC region.
* Handle tax-related activities, including GST, withholding tax, and corporate tax filings.
* Oversee statutory audit processes and collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with company secretarial functions and legal requirements.
* Work closely with internal teams in Australia and the SEA Regional Office as well as external partners, to support business operations.
Skills & Experience:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance or administration management role.
* Strong proficiency in financial systems, with advanced MS Excel skills.
* Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate with senior leadership.
* A proactive approach to managing financial and administrative responsibilities.
* Experience in finance in luxury retail or hospitality is an advantage.
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance.
