In this pivotal role, you'll lead the Ageing Well Team—overseeing Social Connections, Positive Ageing, Advocacy and Navigation, along with two Commonwealth Home Support Programs: Transport and the Social Support Group. You'll manage reporting, budgets, business planning, and advocacy, while keeping the organisation informed of sector reforms and aged care developments. If you're a collaborative leader with a passion for community and strong strategic planning skills, we'd love to hear from you!What a typical day will look like;Coordinate the planning and delivery of the programs within Council's Ageing Well TeamCollaborate across Council to drive integrated policy, planning, and program development aligned with key community goals.Build strong relationships with government and community partners to enhance the reach and effectiveness of Ageing Well initiatives.Provide a high level of leadership, management and support to the Ageing Well Team through supervision, training and performance management.Manage, monitor and report on program budgets and funding agreements.Oversee the coordination of the Positive Ageing Advisory Committee.What you will bring to the role;Ability to manage, plan and organise own work to deliver within agreed timelines.Skilled in leading and managing hybrid teams, with proven experience in implementing cultural and engagement strategies that enhance employee experience and drive outstanding business outcomes.Ability to develop and manage stakeholder relationships.Experience in leading and supporting the health and wellbeing of self and others.Why should you join us?
