Lead Clinician Opportunity in Mental Health and Addiction Services
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Clinician to join our team in Newcastle, working on a permanent part-time basis. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality AOD Psychosocial counselling, case management and care coordination to parents with young children, aiming to reduce AOD related harms.
The successful candidate will lead a small team of Community/Peer Support Workers, partnering with parents and stakeholders to conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based supports. This includes individual and group interventions aimed at improving health, wellbeing and social outcomes for clients.

Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct initial assessments and triage for program inclusion.
* Develop comprehensive formulations and risk assessments to inform intervention.
* Administer, interpret and report on assessments as appropriate.
* Monitor progress against care plans and outcome measures.
* Support clients to maintain or re-engage in community networks and activities through multi-disciplinary intervention and clinical case management.
Requirements:
* Tertiary degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or relevant qualification.
* Current full registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional organisation/s.
* Demonstrated experience in AOD and family focussed supports.
* Capacity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Current unrestricted drivers license and own vehicle.
