Disability Support Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to provide high-quality support services for individuals with disabilities.
The successful candidate will be working with participants who require support in home care, focusing on psychosocial behavior.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist participants with daily living tasks, including personal care and mobility support.
* Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of participants, promoting independence and well-being.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Provide emotional support and guidance to participants and their families.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
* Experience working with individuals with psychosocial behavioral challenges.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* First Aid Certification (required).
* Working with Children Check (required).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (required).
* National Police Certificate (required).
* Driver Licence (required).
Desirable Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology).
* Experience working with older adults or people with disabilities.
