(HWF4) * 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading * 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation * Professional development allowance * Plus great Salary Packaging options to increase take-home pay * Flexible working arrangements options may be available About your opportunity This role delivers a range of hearing health services, within a delegated Model of Care, to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. You'll support culturally effective care through hearing screening, health education and competency‑based training programs for children aged 4 to 18 years, with a focus on key school years. The Senior Health Worker also provides operational leadership to the Health Worker team, working collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse to ensure high‑quality, culturally safe services. Requirements: * Possession of AQF Diploma in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care. * Possession of or willingness to complete HLTAUD002 (Conduct play audiometry) or equivalent training within 6 months of appointment. * Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a 'working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
