Your Key responsibilities:Support Public Health Units and First Nations local governments to integrate Healthy Living Practices into community programs.Develop and implement place-based plans that adapt HLPs to local housing, environmental, and cultural contexts.Coordinate Program activities and contribute to the delivery of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Environmental Health Plan.Role fitThe essential requirements for this role are:A demonstrated ability to recognise and articulate the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including a capacity to effectively and sensitively consult and negotiate in accordance with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural practices.Demonstrated knowledge of First Nations health reform agenda, and national and state policy frameworks related to improving health outcomes for First Nations peoples.Demonstrated experience in project management including the ability to independently lead project activities, proactively and effectively engage with First Nations and other stakeholders and deliver quality outcomes within constrained timeframes.Why work with us?Work alongside passionate professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment that values people and prioritises employee success and wellbeing.
