Project Support Officer Wanted

**About the role**

We have a 6-month opportunity for Project Support Officer to join one of our clients, IT Group's Project & Program Delivery Business Unit, for a Program Administrator to join the Enterprise Asset Management Program.

**What the role will involve**

A Program Administrator is required to perform administrative tasks of the Program.

Duties include:

- Setting up committees/working groups and similar meetings balancing key stakeholder availability
- Secretariat for Senior User Groups and other business outcomes focused on workshops.
- Analyse basic needs and draft documents and presentations primarily related but not limited to Program Change Management (a large part of the role)
- Coordinate state-wide workshops including travel and accommodation coordination (note that 3000 staff are impacted with very widespread repeatable engagement required and many sites have restrictions requiring them to be adhered to prior to arrival)
- Coordinate events.
- Onboarding and offboarding of vendors and program & project staff (specifically for EAM Program) including chasing LMS adherence of vendors etc.
- Administer the program level filing system in Nexus etc.
- Working with Cost Analyst and Scheduler to prepare Program Level documentation.
- Work with the Program Change Lead, Program Business Owner, and Portfolio Director with any administrative tasks required to ensure Program Success
- Work with Project Support Office (in which the role sits) to facilitate any governance activities through to completion (monitor and escalate as needed)

**Key skills and experience**

This position would suit someone who has a keen eye for detail, enjoys working within defined processes, likes to coordinate activities involving internal and external parties, and is very time conscious.
- You'll hold a qualification in business, project management or relevant discipline, or working towards relevant qualifications.
- Demonstrated report writing.
- Ability to engage with key stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
- Ability to manage tasks and keep to strict timelines, with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Meticulous and accurate in handling project documentation, reports and data entry.
- Working effectively in a team environment, supporting team members, and contributing to program goals
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced PowerPoint and word.
