The Role

Our Home Care services empower older people to live at home independently and safely. You will take the lead in supporting and providing individualized care tailored to the needs of each client and their families. This is a casual role, with the option of Parts‐Time Pay, and covers a variety of shifts – you must be available and flexible within the hours of 08:00 – 16:00 ideally. A minimum of 3 days availability (Monday to Friday) is required. We are recruiting for 2 positions in Tweed Heads; you will service clients in and around this area.

Your Role Will Include
  • Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation, and help with eating
  • Transport and accompaniment to shopping trips and appointments
  • Social support and activities, including outings and social events
  • Personal care, showering, bathing, and general self‐care duties
  • Domestic assistance, light household cleaning
About You

To be a Home Care provider you will have a compassionate and supportive nature, assisting elderly clients to live as independently as possible at home. You will listen to their individual needs and tailor services to achieve the best possible living standards.

In addition, you will have
  • A desire to improve the lives of the elderly and their families
  • Certificate III in aged care or willingness to work towards certification
  • Compassionate interpersonal skills and empathy for older people
  • No qualification required for domestic assistance, but experience in aged care, disability services, or hospitality/cleaning is preferred
  • Current driver's licence and car with full comprehensive insurance
  • Time‐management skills
  • Reliability and trustworthiness – our clients depend on you
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Proven aged care or NDIS services background
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently in customers' homes and the local community
