Teaching focused lecturer in medical education (law, ethics and professional practice) (birtinya)

This role will contribute towards teaching in the Doctor of Medicine program, focusing on law, ethics, and professional practice. The position is a continuing, part‐time role based at the Sunshine Coast site, located at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. The role may require occasional work across other campus locations.

Part‐time equivalent base salary for a 40% FTE Academic Lecturer (Level B) ranges from $45,290 to $53,784 per annum plus 17% superannuation. The total part‐time package ranges from $52,989 to $62,927.

• Possession of a law degree from a recognised educational institution.
• Possession of a doctoral or master's qualification of equivalent accreditation and standing and/or significant progress towards completion of a master's or doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or field.
• Experience in university teaching in an undergraduate or postgraduate medical or medical science program is highly desirable.
