We are currently seeking an experiencedHorizontal Directional Driller (HDD)to join our team for upcomingWestern PowerandWater Corporationprojects across Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a professional, safety-focused crew on essential infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment for utility installation
* Interpret plans, drawings, and utility locations
* Work safely around existing underground services
* Complete daily job reports and maintain drill logs
* Collaborate with site supervisors, locators, and other team members
* Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating HDD rigs (Vermeer or Ditch Witch preferred)
* Relevant tickets and certifications (HR license, White Card, etc.)
* Knowledge of utility installation procedures
* Ability to read and understand utility plans
* Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
* Western Power and/or Water Corp experience highly regarded
* Availability for regional work and flexible hours when required
