Overview
13VETS Vet Nurse – 12 Month Part-Time Maternity Leave Contract. This fixed-term, remote-based role allows you to deliver high-quality patient care and customer service from home (with an optional head office presence in North Ryde, Sydney).
Responsibilities
- Provide general advice, book appointments, and triage calls on behalf of Greencross clinics.
- Manage online bookings, respond to website inquiries, and handle client reminders.
- Support a fast-paced veterinary clinic environment while maintaining high attention to detail and process compliance.
Details
- Contract: 12 months, part-time (27 hours per week)
- Shifts: Tuesday to Friday 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Work arrangement: Remote-based; option to use Greencross head office in North Ryde, Sydney
Requirements
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with at least 3 years of experience
- Clinically experienced and customer-service oriented
- Thrives in a rapid-paced workplace and remains calm under pressure
- Confident in making accurate triage decisions over the phone
- Working knowledge of RxWorks
- Robust attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Start Date and Training
- Ideally available to start in August
- Training: two weeks full-time or three weeks part-time
Remuneration
Remuneration aligned with the Veterinary Nurse Award Wage.
