About the Role:

The Minor Injury and Illness Clinic will operate extended hours of operation, 7 days per week, providing patients with convenient access to urgent but non-life-threatening care.

Presentations to the clinic can be via self-transport, ambulance service, or referral from another healthcare provider.

This role requires advanced clinical skills, knowledge, and expertise in credentialed scope of practice, enabling the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with established standards and guidelines.

* Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to multidisciplinary teams.

* Maintain strong relationships, open communication, and a positive environment within and across teams.

* Educate and inform patients and families on contemporary clinical information relevant to their care.

* Apply quality improvement frameworks and nursing research to enhance clinical activities.

Requirements:

* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse with Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.

* Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in health employment directives.
