Job Summary
A Maintenance Professional is required to perform routine and reactive electrical repairs, as well as general maintenance of a hotel's assets. This varied role requires the ability to fault find in control wiring and work with electrical schematic diagrams.
Main Responsibilities:
* Repair and maintain all electrical, mechanical, kitchen, heating systems, and associated equipment within the hotel.
* Fault find and repair commercial equipment and appliances.
* Repair of data cable and network systems.
* Inform your manager about equipment deficiencies, relevant stock control and spare parts.
* Coordinate and assist all external contractors as necessary.
* Keep the workshop clean and tidy.
* Perform call out and other duties assigned by management.
* Flexible rostering on rotating shifts.
* Respond directly to guest maintenance requests.
Requirements:
* Previous electrical experience, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
* Current knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes.
* A proactive and strong work ethic.
* A passion for managing projects and tasks throughout the day.
