About the role
As Student Services Coordinator, you will operate at the centre of student support, shaping how processes, systems, and partnerships enable student success across enrolment, progression, and graduation. Your key responsibilities include data analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; providing specialist advice on compliance frameworks, policy interpretation, and regulatory requirements; overseeing systems and procedures to ensure they're applied consistently and effectively; building cross‐functional relationships to co‐ordinate seamless service delivery; and supporting peak demand periods with expert guidance. You'll contribute to strategic initiatives that align student services with institutional objectives and develop capability across teams. The role directly influences student retention and completion outcomes whilst strengthening the student study journey. You'll work with internal teams and external stakeholders to remove barriers and ensure equitable access to tertiary education. This is work where your expertise drives tangible improvement in how the institution supports its students.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience coordinating and supporting service delivery teams, with the ability to identify issues promptly and respond effectively. You will understand customer service processes and compliance frameworks, with strong organisational skills and the ability to follow protocols accurately, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work independently with limited supervision. You will be confident with data analysis and management systems, and a strong attention to detail. You will bring high‐level interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders, provide guidance and support to staff, and liaise professionally with leadership and partners. Your background may include a degree with relevant experience in higher education or administrative fields, a diploma or advanced qualification in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training. Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to translate complex information into actionable advice are essential. You're comfortable working across multiple locations and managing competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
